Trail Navigation Workshop at Doyle Reservation
March 25, 2023 @ 10:00 am
Learn to know your way around the wild at a Trail Navigation Workshop on March 25 at Doyle Reservation in Leominster.
Have you ever looked at a map, seen all the different lines and symbols, and thought you had no idea what was going on? Fear not! In this workshop, we will go over the basic components of a map and how to orient a map. You will also learn the difference between local park trail maps and technical contour maps. Workshop instructed by Ladda “Bug” Kosaketh from our partners at Just Understand My Potential (JUMP).
Recommended for ages 12 and up but please reach out if you have a younger child you’d like to have attend – we also welcome parents who don’t have child care to bring their children with them if needed, just let us know. Please note that the classroom is up a flight of stairs, unfortunately there is no accessible access to this room.
Please register at https://northcountylandtrust.org/…/trail-navigation…/ Registration required, spaces limited.
