Nibbling on Native Plants at Sterling Senior Center

Russ Cohen, Expert Forager

Join expert forager Russ Cohen at the Sterling Senior Center to learn about the edible plants that could be growing in your own backyard, May 1, 6:30pm!

The local woods (and your own backyard) can be home to many native plants that make for a tasty treat. Russ Cohen, expert forager, will present a slideshow featuring native edible wild plants that you can snack on and encourage to grow in your own backyard. During the presentation, you will be provided with identification keys and foraging guidelines, as well as the chance to try some samples of foraged goodies and drinks.
