Sew a Pocket at Athol Public Library

Have you never touched a sewing machine before, but want to learn the basics? Try one out and sew a pocket onto fabric at the Athol Public Library on February 12 at 4PM.

Instructor Fay Hsieh-Lewis has been sewing for about 25 years and has studied fashion design. There will be three sewing machines, and she will lead participants in sewing a patch pocket to a bag.

Registration is required. Bring a thin cloth bag on which to sew the pocket.
