Take A Hike: Mount Jefferson Conservation Area
Preserved in 2002 by a land trust, the Mount Jefferson Conservation Area is home to several prominent trails in the Templeton-Hubbardston area. The land is open to the public for non-motorized forms of recreational use such as biking, hunting, horseback riding, and hiking. Mount Jefferson offers the perfect environment to learn the land’s history and see it now for yourself. Take a hike and tell us what you think!

Take A Hike: Malone Conservation Area
The Malone Conservation Area is known for its two trails, Dottie Rock Trail and Between The Pines Trail. Multiple modes of transportation (mountain biking, horseback riding, and snowmobiling) are permitted on specific section of the trails, so there’s something for everyone.
