Winter Sow Program at the Conant Public Library

Learn how to garden in the Winter time at the Conant Public Library in Sterling on January 25 from 6:30-7:30pm.

Who says you can’t garden in winter? We’ll teach you how!

Come to the library and learn the value that native plants have for the local ecosystem and how to winter sow a few different types of native seeds to be planted in your garden in June! Each participant will need two one gallon translucent milk jugs. We will provide everything else!

Sterling residents will be given priority in registration; after one week open spots will be given to non-residents in the order that they registered.

Registration is required for this event, and will be subject to the approval of the library.
