Calling All Artists for Petersham Art Exhibition

Calling all Artists! The Petersham Orthodox Congregational Church announces an open call for art submissions for an exhibit on October 7 from 1:00-4:00pm to celebrate its bicentennial celebration!

The deadline for submission is October 6 by 5:00pm at Petersham Town Hall. The date of exhibition is October 7 from 1:00-4:00pm.

This year’s theme is “Hope and Faith” with three suggested categories

1. Depictions of Hope and Faith in a religious context
2. Depictions of the Petersham Orthodox Congregational Church
3. Symbolic Depictions of the Congregational-Unitarian Schism (ex. Trinity: trinity v. non-trinity: social, emotional, community pain of a church splitting apart

Any medium or mixed media acceptable. Art must be displayed and ready for wall, peg board, or tabletop. Please contact us regarding non-standard sized works.

Non-cash awards will be given to best in show and best in category

Information to be paired with the art: Title, name, home town, medium, price (30% of all art sales will be donated to the church)
