History & Legends Through Song on Thursday, September 18  from 7:00-8:00pm after a museum-hosted reception at 6:30pm.

Musician, songwriter, and history enthusiast Jon Waterman returns to the museum for another engaging live performance, this time together with Li Waterman, as a duo called Sultana. Blending original and traditional songs with stories and historical narratives, they bring the past to life through music. The carefully researched songs are inspired by fascinating historical characters and events. Join us for an evening where music and history meet, sparking curiosity and a deeper appreciation for the stories that shaped our world. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Gardner Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the MA Cultural Council, a state agency.
