Live on the Lawn: Ali McGuirk and Kimon Kirk Trio at Groton Hill

Ali McGuirk and the  Kimon Kirk Trio will be live on the Lawn at the Groton Hill Music Center on Sunday, August 11 at 5:00pm.

Blending classic soul power with a folk songwriter lyricism, New England’s Ali McGuirk has the rare ability to silence a room with just a few words of a song. With a voice that is raw and sultry and a style rooted in improvisation, her sets are a hypnotic and intimate journey.

Bassist, singer-songwriter-guitarist, and producer Kimon Kirk has toured and recorded with the likes of Gaby Moreno, Aimee Mann, Alejandro Escovedo, Session Americana, Amy Correia, Grant-Lee Phillips, and Sarah Borges, and penned songs with Grammy-winners Mann and Lori McKenna. He steps into the spotlight on vocals and guitar with his band.
