Annie Fields: History at Play at The Gardner Museum

Judith Kalaora of History at Play, LLC, will portray Annie Fields at the Gardner Museum, May 16, 6:00-7:00, after a museum-hosted reception at 5:30.

Learn about an influential and highly capable woman who made a name for herself in the literary scene of Boston in the mid-to-late 1800s. Annie Fields’ (1834-1915) published writings include collections of poetry and essays, as well as several biographies and memoirs of notable literary figures among her social circle.

This interactive performance will run from 6:00 to 7:00. Before that will be a museum-hosted reception at 5:30.
