Dance Workshop at Saima Park

Saima Park will host a Folk Dance Workshop and Evening Dance on Saturday March 22, 12:30-10:00pm, featuring the Revontulet Dancers.
The Revontulet Dancers are a Finnish folk dance group from the Fitchburg, Massachusetts area.
In the afternoon, guest instructors Tom Roby and Laura Stern will teach two popular dances, the hambo and the schottische.
The participation fee for either the afternoon workshop or the evening dance is $15 per individual, $20 per couple, or $25 for a family.
For those attending both events, the price is $25 per individual, $35 per couple, or $45 for a family.
12:30pm – The doors will open
1:00-2:30 – Participants will learn The schottish
2:30-3:00 – Break with light refreshments
3:00-5:00 -Participants will learn the hambo.
6:00-7:00 – A potluck dinner will be available
8:00-10:00 – Evening Dance
Anyone age 14 years or older is welcome to attend the instructional workshop. Children of all ages are invited to come with their families to the evening dance.
