Winter Wildlife Tracking at Leominster Library

The Leominster Library is hosting a Winter Wildlife Tracking class with the group Hands on Nature Wednesday, February 28 from 4:00-5:00pm.

Children ages 3-8 are invited to join Heather Simpson from Hands on Nature for Winter Wildlife Tracking! Discover the tracks of our local mammals and learn to identify which mammals leave which types of tracks. Participants will also discover their other ‘signs’, such as fur traces, scat and scratch marks. Following an animal’s tracks can teach us a lot about who lives in our woods and their behavior. Make some track rubbings and a track cast to take home!

Registration is required and begins February 21.
