Fall Tree Identification Walk at New England Botanic Garden

Come learn about our local trees on one last glorious walk amongst the trees at New England Botanic Garden, October 28, 1:00-3:00pm.

Herbalist and arborist Alex Klein will lead this wonderful guided walk through the forest and teach tree identification in “broad strokes”. Learn to differentiate trees by their fall foliage, and spot interloping vines that have concealed and disguised themselves in the canopy throughout the rest of the year! It’s a great opporutunity to get to know local forest populations through their unique mixes of color! The walk will also focus on other aspects of tree identification such as leaf structure, bark, habitat, and the timing of color change and leaf drop.

Tickets are $35 for members and $50 for nonmembers (price includes admission to the Garden).
