Star Gazing at Sholan Farms

 Star Gazing at Sholan Farms on Wednesday, September 4 from 7:00pm – 8:45pm.

Kids ages 5-13 and their families are invited to join in for Star Gazing at Sholan Farms. The program will begin at 7pm. There will be an outdoor display with astronomical artifacts, and demonstrations of Newton’s Laws with Stomp rocket launching in the field for kids! Star gazing will let participants see a Thin Waxing Crescent Moon, and Saturn will rise one hour after sunset! Four of Saturn’s moons will be easily visible in small microscopes. See the constellations – Lyra, Cygnas, Aquila – the Summer Triangle and double stars, Albireo, Alcor & Mizar!

Registration is required and begins 8/28.
