New England Spartan Event Weekend August 12-13

Spartan comes to Carter and Stevens Farm in Barre with a weekend of long-distance obstacle course races Aug 12 and 13.

August 12 will see the Super 10K with 25 obstacles, a great event for teams! The next day, Aug 13, marks the Sprint 5K with 20 obstacles. It’s a great opportunity to challenge a friend! Both days will also have Kid Races that range from 1 kilometer to 3 kilometers plus obstacles.

The races will be hosted at lush and robust Carter and Stevens Farm, which offers a lots of mud, woods, and rolling hills. After the race, you can stop by the Farm Store to find homemade icecream, fresh milk, and grass-fed beef for sale. The Stone Cow Brewery also offers ice cold beer to reward yourself with as well!

The Race Day Program, including updated start-times, event and festival schedule, parking information, and more, will be emailed to participating racers 7 days before the event. Registration typically begins at 6:30a. Spartan asks that participants arrive at least 90 minutes before their event is scheduled to begin.

Kids race sign-ups start at $26. The Super 10K sign-up cost starts at $154, and the Sprint 5K starts at $140.
