Live Music: Southern Rail at Bull Run

Southern Rail brings its high-octane bluegrass fun to the Bull Run in Shirley on Jan. 14. Lush harmonies, irrepressible good humor and sparkling banjo, guitar and mandolin have delivered Southern Rail numerous awards and accolades, as well as 11 recordings of wide acclaim. Two of the band’s members, guitarist Jim Muller and bassist Sharon Horovitch, were recently inducted, by the Rhode Island Bluegrass Alliance, into their Bluegrass Hall of Fame.
