Quabbin Reunion Fundraiser

Big excitement for Quabbin alumni on Feb. 3: The Quabbin Wachusett League basketball champions of 1972-73 and the district champion team of 1994-95 and both team’s cheerleaders will hold a reunion at the Quabbin-Lunenburg game. Both squads will be introduced at halftime of the game.

The night will be a kickoff to the fundraising effort for a new press box for the Quabbin athletic field and will be announced as “The Press Box Challenge.”

There will be no admission fee to the game, but those in attendance will be asked to contribute at the door to one of two canisters marked “Team of 1973” or “Team of 1995.” The team which has raised the most donations will have a sign posted in their honor on the new press box upon its completion.

We’ve had a good response from many of the players and cheerleaders who will be in attendance that night, as well as at the Post-Game reunion at the Upper Deck in Barre.
