Painting with Wool: Introduction to Needle Felting

This needle felting workshop on April 22 is  in a creative, joyful environment. In this short workshop you will learn the basics of needle felting two dimensional art. Creative Connections artisan Lyn Slade has 20+ years of needle felting teaching experience and is considered one of the area’s leading experts. She will walk you through the fun, fast and forgiving technique of “painting with wool”. Using Lyn’s tools, your investment is small to learn a new skill and go home with an 8×10 work of art, matted and ready for framing. The picture shown here is an example of Lyn’s work in this medium. You’ll create a landscape that is appealing to YOU and uniquely yours.

People ages 10-15 are welcome with an accompanying adult. Class unsuitable for those under 10. (People 16 and over can come on their own.) Class will be limited to 12 students.
