Groton Hill Music Center’s Flute Orchestra presents Waves of Sound on Sunday, March 9 at 3:00pm.
From gentle rain to riverways, from scenic seasides to ocean depths, join the Groton Hill Flute Orchestra, directed by Nicole O’Toole, to explore all things water. Flute enthusiasts will love the variety of sounds produced by this ensemble as they hear everything from the little piccolo to the great contrabass flute. The program features works by Mendelssohn, Saint-Saëns, Gershwin, Sousa, Beeftink, and more. You’ll also hear two brand new arrangements for the flute orchestra!
