Lantern Making for the Solstice

Turn recyclables, ball jars, drink cartons, and whatever else you can think of into lanterns on December 14 from 6p-8pm. North County Land Trust is on a mission to collect, reclaim, and create over 300 lanterns for our winter solstice event on December 21. We would love your help and creativity to make lanterns for the event, we have a great workshop space to use (thank you to the Trustees!) and can’t wait to get crafty with you!
We will have some materials to use but would love if you could also bring some items to transform – your imagination is the only limit – if light can shine through it, it will work!

If you aren’t able to join us on the 14th, we welcome you to get creative at home and drop off lanterns to our office at 325 Lindell Ave, Leominster any time before the December 21st event. Every lantern helps!
