Would you love to start hiking but you don’t know where to start? Day Hiking for Beginners will get you started April 15 at Doyle reservation in Leominster. In this workshop you will learn how to find local hikes and how to be prepared for your hike by knowing what to bring and what to research beforehand. Have your questions answered by a Fitchburg local with a degree in Outdoor Education & Leadership who is also a certified Wilderness First Responder and an instructor for the Appalachian Mountain Club! This program is presented with partner organization, Just Understand My Potential (JUMP).

Recommended for ages 12 and up but please reach out if you have a younger child you’d like to have attend – we also welcome parents who don’t have child care to bring their children with them if needed, just let us know. Please note that the classroom is up a flight of stairs, unfortunately there is no accessible access to this room.
