Hey Day Festival at Wachusett Meadow

Mass Audubon Wachusett Meadow Wildlife Sanctuary invites you to celebrate their agricultural roots at this fall festival, September 23, 11:00-4:00pm.

The Hey Day Festival, with a history that reaches back to the 1960s, will feature a hey ride through the meadow, pumpkin painting, crafts, games, canoeing on Wildlife Pond, and local vendors selling handmade items and crafts. Food ad refreshments will be available for purchase from Mountainside Bakery & Cafe, Monti Farms & Deli, Red Apple Farm, and Seven Saws Brewing.

Entry is $10 per person, or $30 per carload. This Festival is Wachusett Meadow’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and supports nearly all aspects of sanctuary operations. All activities are free with entry to the festival.
