Join two artists for a stroll through the galleries to talk about their work on display in a current exhibit, April 7, 2:00-3:30.

Don’t miss this stellar chance to learn more about the thought process behind two of the artists featured in the exhibition On Her Terms: Feminine Power Ebodied, which will be available to view during regular museum hours through June 2.

Tickets for this event range from $0 to $9, and can be purchased online ahead of time here. This is not required, but would help museum staff to plan ahead. Ticket purchase includes general museum admission.

On Her Terms: Feminine Power Embodied features the work of seven contemporary New England artists who engage current issues around women’s rights by placing the human body as the foreground of their work and identifying it as a site of empowerment. The multi-media work featured in the collection balances the personal and collective histories of women existing under oppresive gender regimes, including themes of vulnerability, ferocity, radical joy, and elegy in interlacing narrative of self-reclamation.
