Specimen Shadowboxes with Julie Harrold at The Groton Library

Specimen Shadowboxes with Julie Harrold at The Groton Library on Thursday, July 11 from 2:30-4:30pm.

Participants will create insect specimen shadowboxes using recycled and found materials.  Participants can make whatever insect they choose and Julie will be there to guide and help with how to make shapes and forms and putting them together, and will also help figure out the artistic balance of details, texture and color within the whole piece. Grades 6-12

Julie Harrold has a BFA in Studio Arts, is a former Elementary art teacher/Art director and currently a homeschool mom who also teaches art classes in her spare time.
