Orchid Sculpting Workshop at the Leominster Library

Orchid Sculpting Workshop at the Leominster Library with The New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill on Monday, July 1 from 10:00-11:15am.

Kids ages 8-13 are invited to join in for an Orchid Sculpting Workshop with Holly Miller, Manager of Youth Education from Tower Hill. Participants will learn about the parts of an orchid, learn about the types of clay tools being used, and will learn the basics of working with air-dry clay as they sculpt their own orchids and pollinators. Each orchid relief will sit atop a 4″ x 6″ canvas board. Once the clay has dried overnight, participants can choose to paint their pieces if they wish.

Registration is required and begins 6/24.
