Monument Park Summer Concert Series: Boothill Express

This summer, head to Monument Park in Gardner from June 17 to August 26 to catch an assorted array of live concerts.

On July 29, you can catch Boothill Express from 6:00-8:00p at Monument Park in Gardner. Here’s some background if you don’t know them:

Wayne and Bruce have been playing music together as Boothill Express for over forty years. The current lineup has been together for several years. The band plays sometimes as a duo or as a 3 piece band.   Their popularity in the northern Worcester ( MA.)  county area has grown tremendously.n Boothill Express consistently plays over 40 shows per year with much fanfare. They have shared the stage with many national and regional acts such as: James Montgomery, Bill Kirchen, Tim LaRoche, Clutch Grabwell, and The Fool’s to name a few. Boothill Express has also won two Pulse Magazine / Worcester Music Awards in the Country / Americana category.
The Boothill Express band is known for their wide variety of music as well as their high energy stage performances. The band is also known for their three part harmonies. The band covers such country artists as John Prine, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Kevin Fowler, Toby Keith, Buck Owens, Turnpike Troubadours, Reckless Kelly, Robert Earl Keen  as well as classic rock artists such as Queen, New Riders Of The Purple Sage, Van Morrison, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Rolling Stones, Steve Miller just to name a few.  The band’s slogan is COUNTRY THAT ROCKS! because they put a little rock in their country and a little country in their rock n roll.  The band also incorporates plenty of audience participation during their shows.
