Underground Mammals with Hands on Nature at Leominster Library

Children ages 3-8 are invited to join Heather Simpson of Hands on Nature on Wednesday, March 27 at 4:00pm for Underground Mammals at the Leominster Public library.

Participants will learn about local mammal species which spend most of their lives underground. They will discover some of the special characteristics of underground mammals, and the adaptations these animals have made to a life underground. We will explore what animals look for when making a home, and learn about some interesting details of their den construction. We’ll also do an underground mammal activity to take home.

Registration is required and begins 3/20 at 9:00 AM.
